Tennessee Little Britches Rodeo Association (TLBRA) held the first event of the spring at Barnfly Farms in Springfield, Tennessee March 26-27, 2016.
Tracy McPherson reported, “Our TLBRA Rodeos last weekend went very well! We had a great group of kids and parents with us once again, and we managed to escape any rain chances that were in the forecast. We always want to thank our sponsors Barnfly Farms and Events, Robertson - Cheatham Co-Op, The National Working Cow Horse Association, Boot Barn, Permobil and A & T Crazy Buckers. Without their support there is no way we could put on these rodeos.
“This was a special weekend for us, as we saw several of our TLBRA kids get the runs they needed to make it to the NLBRA Finals, which will be held at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Oklahoma this year. These kids work hard all year and it makes us so proud to see them compete at Finals!
“Each year and each rodeo the TLBRA continues to grow and see new members. Joe and I are thrilled to see so many kids growing in this sport. The TLBRA kids are tough and competitive, while remaining supportive of each other.
“We have four more rodeos this season - April 23 & 24 and May 28 & 29. On April 23rd we will have our third annual Adults vs. Kids Barrel Race Fundraiser. Cowgirl Tuff has donated two $100 gifts cards for this event. This event is a lot of fun and is a great fundraiser for our association. We are excited to see who wins the Fastest Adult and the Fastest Kid, and which group will be victorious this year!”
