About 16 riders enjoyed “Riding the Park” at the annual The Marilyn Lubin Memorial Trail Ride on Sunday afternoon, October 5, 2014 at Shelby Farms Park, Memphis, TN.
Lisa Sikkink, Dressage instructor from Hillside Stables of Byhalia, MS, led the riders on a 2-hour trek around the Park trails. Afterwards, the riders enjoyed a cook out with “back yard” hamburgers, salads, and delicious desserts.
The annual Marilyn Lubin Memorial Ride is sponsored by the Shelby Farms Equestrian Alliance. Rumor is there may be another such trail ride in the spring on the south side of the park.
