Buck Creek St. Jude Trail Ride

post-title post-title post-title
You read about it every year and hundreds of folks turn out for the ride, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. There’s always friendly camaraderie at Weaver Farms, with good food and musical entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights.

And if all these reasons aren’t enough to come to the trail ride this year, you won’t want to miss the special surprise vocalist/guitarist on Saturday night. He’s been working with Blake Shelton and is a phenomenal new talent on the country music scene – at only 14 years old! He’s originally from Laurel, MS and now lives in the Nashville area.

We won’t give away the surprise, so pack up your horses and head to Weaver Farms September 26-28, 2014 for the 16th annual Buck Creek St. Jude Trail Ride. Don’t ride? No problem! Experience an old time wagon train ride or a hay ride in one of the wagons that will be available.

In fact, you might want to go a day early on Thursday, so you can hear the Backroad Regulators play at 7 p.m. On Friday night Bobby Marquez will be playing at 9 p.m., preceded by Bullet Town at 7 p.m. The Doug Bartholomew Band is the main attraction at 9 p.m. on Saturday, but don’t miss the special, surprise talent at 7 p.m.!

Other attractions for the weekend include:

·  DJ Music by Daryl and Kathy Holder
·  Ride the Mechanical Bull
·  Food and Gift Vendors
·  Photos by Picture Lady
·  Women’s Only Rodeo on Friday at 7 p.m.
·  Horse Costume Contest
·  Live & Silent Auctions
·  Overnight Camping
·  Dr. Alleice Summers will microchip horses
·  Sunday afternoon ride at 1:00 p.m.
