Last year on Hannah Lee and David Holt went to Gallup, NM for National Junior High Finals Rodeo. Hannah qualified again this year when she finished First in Breakaway Roping at the Tennessee High School Rodeo State Finals. It is not often that freshman take First Place in the roping events. David Holt also won First Place in Tie-Down Calf Roping for the second year in a row.
Hannah and her parents left town on July 10, 2014, heading for Rock Springs, Wyoming to the National High School Finals Rodeo, which took place July 13-19 at the Sweetwater Events Complex. Hannah competed in Breakaway Roping on Tuesday morning and Thursday afternoon. David Holt competed in Tie-Down Roping on Monday afternoon and Friday morning.
