West Tennessee Pony Club had some girls rate up this summer to C-2 level. Maggie Hyde C-2HM (knowledge only). Ani Blair and Audrey Hanisco both rated up to C-2 level completely (riding & knowledge).
Last year U.S. Pony Club implemented a new way of taking the lower level ratings. It was broken down into either 3 or 2 or 1 rating at one level. So, one could just do the knowledge (C-2HM), or one could do the riding on the flat (C-2 F), or jumping (C-2 OF), or all 3 phases at one time (C-2 traditional). So Maggie opted for just the knowledge; Ani opted for traditional; and Audrey did her knowledge, then later did all her riding. So that was challenging to get it all accomplished this spring and summer. Audrey went to Birmingham, AL for her knowledge in May, then went to Nashville for her riding in July. Maggie & Ani stayed in the Memphis area for their ratings in June.
