Eighteen-year-old Jordan Elise Oldham represents the Memphis Polo Club. She began riding at the age of four on a little quarter pony named Tux n’ Tails. By the time she was seven, Jordan was competing regularly at local hunter-jumper shows, and was a member of Pony Club, where she was introduced to eventing.
Within a few years, Jordan and her new horse, Letnayakohn (aka Hugs), were training in Alabama with Jim Graham and competing at horse trials in a 12-state area. During this time she was home schooling, which allowed her to travel and train abroad, as well as to spend winters in Florida, training with some of the best riders and coaches in the world.
Jordan is currently competing a four-year-old American Warmblood named Braveheart who was bred and raised on her Shelby Forest farm, Valeria Sport Horse Facility. Jordan recently graduated from high school and will start college in the fall. She plans to continue training with her young gelding and work her way back up through the levels — hopefully making the U.S. team one day.
