Collierville, TN Exhibitor Competing in NRHA Beth Porter in Rookie of the Year class National Reining Horse Association rider Beth Porter of Collierville, TN has earned a slot in the 2010 NRHA Adequan North American Affiliate Championships, scheduled during the NRHA Futurity in Oklahoma City, OK November 25 through December 4. Porter will be competing against more than 500 reiners from across North America aboard Great Conquistador (an American Quarter Horse) in the Rookie of the Year North American Affiliate Championship class. “I am so honored to have competed in the South Central Regional Affiliate Finals to represent our area. I am delighted have the opportunity to compete in the North American Affiliate Championship Show,” Porter said. The NRHA North American Affiliate Championships are for qualified NRHA members and their horses only. Entrants qualify for the Affiliate Championships through their respective Regional Affiliate Finals. Each Region’s Finals sends its eight highest placing riders to the Championships. Porter competed at the South Central Regional Affiliate Finals in Tulsa, OK on September 2-5, where she won second place. The NRHA Futurity and Affiliate Championship Show attracts exhibitors and spectators from around the globe. Exhibitors will compete for nearly $2 million in purse and prizes.
