TWH National Celebration Judges Announced August 25 - September 4 in Shelbyville The Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration announced its judging panel for the 72nd Annual Celebration, August 25 - September 4, 2010. Adjudicating the event will be Jennifer Bingham, Nathan Clark, Mike Carpenter, Tommy Loid and Spencer Benedict. Benedict, from Glasgow, KY, is the only rookie on the panel. Bingham, of Shelbyville, TN, and Clark, of Arab, AL, will be making their second appearances, while Loid, from Bowling Green, KY, is making his third appearance. Carpenter from Franklin, TN is the veteran of the crew, making his thirteenth appearance. The Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration® is the premier event for the Tennessee Walking Horse, held at the Calsonic Arena in Shelbyville, TN. It takes place each year during the 11 days and nights prior to Labor Day. During this show the breed's World Grand Champion® and 20 World Champions are named. It is a festival event encompassing exciting classes in competition, where more than $650,000 in prizes and awards are given; a barn decorating contest; a trade fair; and a dog show.
