Third Day Stables Hosts Grand Opening May 15 Third Day Stables is a new boarding and training facility in the mid-south. Located on Hwy. 194 near Oakland TN, it is just 3 miles south of I-40 exit 35, easily accessible from Memphis, Arlington, Brownsville, or Jackson. The facility has 130 acres of riding trails, a 22-stall barn with automatic watering system, indoor and outdoor arenas, two round pens, wash rack, 3 grooming stalls, and automatic pest spray throughout the barn. Third Day Stables offers full board with hay, feed and bedding, as well as grooming service, or simply pasture board. One very handy service is overnight boarding for people traveling with horses, and for people who need horse care when they are traveling out of town. Standing at stud is the Rocky Mountain Stallion, Livin’ Legend, who is guaranteed to throw chocolate or red chocolate foals with a high probability of flaxen mane and tail regardless of the dam. Several 3- and 4-year-old Rocky Mountain horses are available for purchase. The Rocky Mountain horse breed is known for its sure-footedness and agreeable disposition.
