Young Rider Wins At Saddle Up! Hailey Young wins High Point Award by Sabrina Young Hailey Young, of Medina, Tennessee won three blue ribbons, in the Novice Futures, Novice Obstacle, and Novice Equitation classes, at the 2009 Saddle Up! Phenomenal Equestrian Riders Show (S.U.P.E.R.). Plus, Hailey won the Luella Jeffery Challenged Rider High Point Award. The show was held in October 2009 in Franklin, TN and 62 riders participated in the show. Hailey is a regular rider at TLC Riding Academy in Humboldt, Tennessee. She is the daughter of Jason & Sabrina Young of Medina and the granddaughter of Bobby & Betty Young and Doris Mitchell, all of McKenzie, and Randy Smithson of Fulton, Tennessee. Founded in 1990, Saddle Up! is the region's oldest and largest recreational therapeutic riding program, and it is the only one exclusively serving children and youth with documented disabilities. Saddle Up! is also one of only three programs in Tennessee to earn the Premier Accredited Center designation from NARHA (North American Riding for the Handicapped Association), the national organization that sets the standards for quality and safety.
