Rodeo of the Mid-South Seeking Entries for Four Queen Pageants

Four Age Categories May Reign as Rodeo Royalty
Rodeo of the Mid-South set for October 1,2,3, 2009 at DeSoto Civic Center in Southaven MS, is accepting entries now through September 18, 2009 for Rodeo of the Mid-South Queen and Princess Pageants. Four age divisions are now available for entries:
Miss Rodeo of the Mid-South, ages 18-25
Teen Miss Rodeo of the Mid-South, ages 14-17
Junior Miss Rodeo of the Mid-south, ages 10-13
Rodeo of the Mid-South Princess, ages 6-9
The Mid-South Fair will also be held at DeSoto Civic Center, September 25-October 4, 2009. Rodeo of the Mid-South will be held the final weekend of the Fair, Oct. 1,2,3 when rodeo tickets will include Free admission to the Mid-South Fair. Info is available at www.midsouthfair.org. Rodeo performances are at 7:30pm each evening.
Reigning Miss Rodeo of the Mid-South is Kirbi Allen of Springdale Arkansas.
The rodeo queen pageants begin with contestant check-in from 4-5pm, Thursday evening, October 1 at DeSoto Civic Center arena in Southaven MS, some 20 miles from downtown Memphis TN. All contestants compete in Horsemanship and personality/appearance. All events occur at DeSoto Civic Center, Friday, Oct. 2. Crowning of the royalty of Rodeo of the Mid-South will be Saturday, October 3 during the 7:30pm performance. The pageants are open to ladies, ages 6 to 25 as of September 18, 2009, and reside within 300 mile radius of Memphis TN. Judging is based on horsemanship, appearance, personality and interview.
Contestants may receive entry form and enter on-line at www.rodeoofthemidsouth.com. Fees are payable to Rodeo of the Mid-South and mailed to 4970 Reynolds Road, Collierville TN 38017 by Thursday, September 18, 2009. Entries must be postmarked or emailed to tpstreet@gmail.com by 9/18/2009.
Rodeo of the Mid-South is produced by Scotty Lovelace-Classic Pro Rodeo, past Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association stock contractor of the year. The Rodeo will feature Collierville Tennessee’s own Rodeo Hall of Fame member, Lecile Harris, and some of Pro-Rodeo’s best cowboys and cowgirl barrel racers. Rodeo of the Mid-South is sanctioned by Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and is held at DeSoto Civic Center, Southaven MS, 20 miles south of downtown Memphis TN.
