Wins At Dixie National Appaloosa Show Champion Halter Mare Youth and more Harley Jade Reeves, 15-year-old 9th grader from Hamilton, MS won several honors at the 2009 Dixie National Registered Appaloosa Horse Show in Jackson, MS January 24-25. Harley and Dynos Bright I Bambi won Champion Halter Mare Youth, was Reserve Champion Youth Barrels, and Reserve Champion Stake Race; they also placed 3rd in the pole bending race. This was Harley's first trip to the Dixie Nationals and the competition was tough in the Game Classes, which are run horse against horse, with no timers, and the first to the finish line wins. Harley said it was really fun and different and will go back next year to try to win it.
