4-H Discovery Club Game Show Huge Success On April 5, 2008 by Jackie Gray The Benton County, Miss., 4-H Discover Club had a Game Show at the Benton County Fairgrounds. We had many classes and everyone had a lot of fun. There were twenty mounted and in-hand classes. People from a variety of places came. Each winner of each class received a gift certificate from Fronteer. Rachael Hundhausen was the High Point Champion and received a belt buckle, donated by Katherine Foster with Coldwell Banker Northwest Realty, Inc. Bobby May was the Reserve High Point Champion and received a gift certificate donated by Hewlett & Dunn. Our game show was not just limited to "horsing" around. We had a silent auction and drawings for door prizes. None of this would have been possible if many various businesses located from Walnut to Memphis had not donated money and/or time. We hope to have another Game Show soon and hope everyone will come out and join us.
