TWHBEASM Hires New Industry Development Coordinator
The Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ & Exhibitors’ AssociationSM (TWHBEASM) is pleased to announce the appointment of Lori Beth Puckett to the position of Industry Development Coordinator. In this position, Lori will be working with Kristi Lane to develop the short and long-term strategic plans for the Association in addition to managing efforts related to corporate sponsors, advertising, federal and state grants, and the on-going maintenance of horse show records related to the registry pedigrees.
Lori is a recent graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science with a concentration in Horse. Lori is originally from Cookeville, Tennessee where as a youth she successfully showed quarter horses. She competed in western pleasure, horsemanship, showmanship, and hunt-seat equitation. Also as a youth she was a member of a the Putnam County 4-H horse judging team winning the Walking Horse National Celebration horse judging contest. Additionally, she was a member of the Tennessee horse judging team. Lori went on to win both the All-American Quarter Horse Congress and The American Quarter Horse Youth World horse judging contest. During college Lori continued her horse judging success as Champion of the Paint Horse Contest. Also during her college career she served as President of the MTSU Equestrian Team competing at the National Championships earning honors for the team in Western Horsemanship competition.
